I love how MathsCraft activities allow students to experience the process of doing mathematics: investigating an open question and playing around with it in a way that inspires further questions.
MathsCraft activities take a problem that students may not initially consider to be a “maths problem,” but encourages them to explore the problem with a mathematical mindset.
I believe that MathsCraft problems give students an insight into the thought processes essential for understanding abstract mathematical problems, which they don’t necessarily get from a standard mathematics curriculum.
